I'm an addict.

My plate after 5 bites.
Crepes.
This weekend I had crepes on two separate occasions. Once at a crepe restaurant. They were too thin and rubbery for my liking. Hey, I consider myself a connoisseur. And if I know I make them better than a restaurant does, then they've just FAILed. I also had crepes at my favorite restaurant...they were the most delish. It's probably the crepes that make it my favorite restaurant. That and this: creamy sauce on top of a fresh crab cake on top of two sunny eggs on top of homefries. But I digress. They were called Bourbon Street Crepes. I tasted heaven as I bit into the huge two crepes filled with pecans, bananas and a bourbouny-syrupy mixure, topped with fresh whip. And for some reason, I haven't had enough. I keep thinking I should make a batch of crepes for the week. Hmmm...

Shopping.
It just needs to end. Starting today. I swear. But I can justify my last purchase: a pair of Coach sunglasses. And yes, they were a necessity. You see, I wear glasses. And I feel sorry for myself sometimes that contacts just aren't an option. So I indulge. I didn't have a pair of prescription sunglasses until now. (Or a few days from now when I can pick them up.) I was wearing huge sunnies on top of my regular glasses. That's right. Two pairs=D.O.R.K. So, now I'll be sporting huge sunnies that sit directly on top of my nose. NOT on top of another pair.
(p.s. I made an appointment for a LASIK consultation...dun dun dunnnnn...)

Scratch off lottery tickets.
It all started one weekend when the LG wanted to get some tickets. So that "We can move to Cali." I thought it was silly until we started winning. $5 here, $5 there...it was simply amazing, and exciting. THIS weekend, we get tickets again. And we win $100. Just like that. Except here comes the embarrassing part. We just weren't satisfied with $100. We were greedy. So we continued playing and pretty much lost $30. My car now looks like it has volcano ash all over the inside. Only, have no fear. It's really not volcano ash, if you were wondering. It's the silvery remains of the 25 tickets we scratched off.

Mojitos.
There's something about that fresh mint mixed with alcoholic goodness and a dash of sugah. Both mango flavored and regular are so refreshing and undeniably good.

Trader Joes.
Hi there, favorite grocery store ever invented. Your selection of fresh flowers, veggies, breads, and cheeses make you my favorite place to shop. Not to mention the free samples of whatever the chef is making. I love your frozen foods that can be reheated in a jiffy for a gourmet looking and tasting dinner. Thank you for making my tummy happy.
