The LG and I go to the movies every weekend. Sometimes we just go once, sometimes we go twice in one day, and other times we spread it out a little, like this weekend.
As I thought this weekend was going to begin like every Friday night, uneventful, it spontaneously turned into a shriekfest. So, it won't matter to you that I still went to bed at 10PM. Friday is my favorite day of the work week, but it's also the day that I am most drained. Anywhoo, my friend Becky asked me if I wanted to go to see......get ready for it.......the Justin Bieber movie. HA! Me? The Biebster? No freaking way. That guy just rubs me the wrong way. So, I went to see it.
Initially, I almost fell over from laughter when I was handed the 3-D glasses. 3-D glasses for what? I thought. So I can see his pimples better?? I'm still not really sure what the real reason was behind the 3-D glasses, but trust me, the movie was fun. It documented the life of the egomaniacal singer and I loved every minute of it. Who wouldn't want their life documented in 3-D?? I sure would! As for his music, you can now bet that I will be purchasing his songs from itunes. The lyrics may be kind of far from deep, but hey, give the kid a break: he's only sixteen...he's just learning.
After that review, I may have ruined my credibility, and you may not want to hear my opinion about the remaining two movies, but there's no stopping this girl!
Moving on... I also saw Unknown.
This action packed movie had the perfect amount of, well, action. My heart was pounding from the intensity of my intelligent predictions and from the suspense of it all. I also am partial to Liam Neeson, so my review is a smidge biased. This movie as fabulous! But then again, I am the 27 year old teacher who just saw a JBiebs movie... and liked it.
And finally, the hilarious comedy with Adam Sandler and Jennifer Aniston: Just Go With It.
Um, hello? Am I the only one who found this movie to be hilarious in its entirety?? I laughed my boots off even though I am not the biggest Sandler fan at all. And who are the kids in the movie??? They, too, contributed to my embarrassingly loud laughter in the theater.
So, there you have it. Three movies in three days. Unprecedented??? Nahhh. Just a typical weekend.
P.S. I'm sorry for my absence last week. I was busy with work, American Idol and grad school stuff. Speaking of grad school, did I brag yet that I am taking my final class of my program?? I graduate in May!!!! But who's counting???? Me!!

I really want to be a Belieber. I definitely must see the movie. I need to judge him.
Wow...we catch a movie maybe once a year? I so want to see the Adam Sandler one!
Hahaha you went and saw the Justin Beiber movie... hilarious! My little sister is OBSESSED.
Oh, congrats on graduating in May! Super exciting!!!
PS - Thanks for the sweet comments on my blog lately! I've been lacking in responding lately because of how busy/hectic life is right now!!
Hope you had a GREAT weekend!!!
Oh and PS about meeting Hanson...
Yes, I've met them too many times to count actually. It all started in 2003 when I met them for the first time, then came Summer of 2004, where I basically toured with them, going city to city, and we became acquaintances. They are SUCH great guys!! :)
haha this sounds exactly like my weekend! the only one of the movies you saw that i saw was Unknown...and i loved it (but i am slightly biased toward neeson as well!). im dying to see the movie about biebs but cant find anyone to go see it with. i normally go to movies alone, but i just think that at my age, it might be in my best interest to tote someone else along!!!!
hope you enjoyed your weekend!

Umm, ever since they sang the Biebs on "Glee", I am kinda sorta denying the fact that I have the Bieber Fever. Therefore, I am somewhat jealous that you saw the movie.
