V-Day in Second Grade

I love Valentine's Day for the sole reason that it creates some interesting drama in a second grade classroom. Secret Admirers were sneaking around and the chasing at recess was ridiculous.

With Valentine's distributed, the most anticipated event was not the party, but the dumping out of the Valentine Bags to see the loot. Justin Bieber valentine's were the best ones around, apparently.  All the girls wanted those and all the boys quietly vowed to tear them up when they got home. (I'm not kidding.) And arguments over whether Usher discovered J Biebs were interrupted by a teacher who bravely admitted that the Biebster is not the hottest thing on the planet and can we just stop talking about him already??  You can bet that pandemonium erupted following that risky comment.

Happy Love Day, Loves!
