Design Desire

For quite some time, I have been thinking of making an upholstered headboard. I was inspired by so many DIYers, but upon actually seeing the material and foam at the fabric store, I felt a little light headed.

However, I just discovered a new blog today, which has me completely in love with this headboard:

It's made out of small squares of backing board, uses mattress foam from Wal-Mart, and is a complete show stopper. And ultimately, I'd like a show stopper. What's even better is that it's inexpensive. It just takes time to get the pattern on the fabric perfectly and identically centered on every square. But depending on the fabric I use, this may not even be a problem.

The major problem, however, is time. Since, currently, I am lacking in that department.

I just keep telling myself...only a few weeks of school left.
