After finishing most of my plate, Sara finished the last of my french toast. As she was eating that, I decided to finish the last of Missy's CrossRoads meal (crab cake, friend egg, homefries). Scavengers.
While there, I began to wonder what it would be like to work there. TomCat is a small restaurant with a great owner and cool servers. I love the food enough. But let's just be honest, I'm not sure that my memory is sharp enough for waitressing. Seriously, it fails me most days, so how would I survive in a fast-paced waitressing world?
After voicing my concern over waitressing, Sara claimed, "I was a really good waitress. It's the truth! It's easy. It's like this.." She proceeded to use me as an actress and we act out a mini restaurant scene. Then, whipping out her trusty iphone, Heidi yells, "Wait! We have to get this on video!" And so we set ourselves up in front of TJMaxx and acted out another restaurant scene. Because we are 26 and 27. And that's how we do.
The Scene: (brace yourselves, it's lame. And I'm slouching. I typically have good posture, I'm not sure what is going on with me. And listen to Heidi laughing at the end...hahahah LOVE IT.)
Afterwards, we mature ladies made our way to Anne Taylor Loft, where we made a vow to "step it up" this year in terms of wardrobe, buying good quality pieces that will actually have parents taking us seriously.

Well, seriously until we have a conversation. Because clearly, we have personality.
P.S. Thanks for all of your kind comments regarding my last post. I'm feeling better about my little encounter today. :)
