What a glorious weekend! I had the chance to finally spend time with BFF Megan. Our busy schedules have prevented us from having a fabulous, fearless, and fun girls night out in a few months. Crazy, right? Anywhoo, we drank sangria and danced the night away.

Typically, after such a large breakfast, the LG and I get a freshly made crepe. Not because we are hungry, but because dessert should come after every meal, right? This time, there was no crepe. Were we thinking about it? Yes. But instead, we saved our money and invested it in something more lucrative- a few lottery tickets. You know, just in case.
My other purchase this weekend was a faux leather motorcycle jacket from Express.
I know. This picture is so tiny, but I could only find it larger in gray. And I wanted to show you black.
It came with a faux fur detachable collar, which will remain detached, if you must know. I got it in black and I feel so Michael Jackson in it. The LG told me he LOVED it with wide eyes. And then cautiously asked if I was planning on wearing it to school. He thought it would be just a little inappropriate. Haha. I wouldn't wear it as part of an outfit to school, but I don't see anything wrong with wearing it as a jacket to school...right? Although I am sad to see summer go, I now have something hot to look forward to when fall arrives. I can't wait to wear it!

Ah! We had breakfast there on Sunday. I had a "simple" short stack of french toast and some home fries. A-Freakin'mazing!!
WE WERE THERE ON SUNDAY, too!!! I haven't had the French toast there, yet. That's on my list!
