Thanks for listening to me vent and lament. october 16th. october 16th. october 16th. I miss your face at the Brook. Especially when your face was locked in a weirdly contorted way after "you know who" stepped and broke your big toe nail. I also miss your shoes.

For taking over Sara's spot and making me laugh throughout the day! It's nice to know that "you know who" feels so comfortable with you that he has resorted to stepping on and breaking your big toe nail, too. It's a truly nice, warm welcome...don't you think? I promise I'll be a better teammate come October 16th. PROMISE.

I miss you at the Brook. I mean, wait...what?? You still work there??? Seriously. I am sooo excited for your trip to Taiwan and the incredible gift that you'll be bringing back with you when you arrive back in PA. I am so happy for you!

For saving my life and really making me smile everyday! Thank you for helping Regan/Cousin It while she puked all over her hair and my classroom. Today she was Dorothy, sporting glittery red shoes. Maybe she's more stylish than we think. Maybe it's really in style for first graders to look like characters from movies, including horror films like The Exorcist?? Maybe.

I'm so glad we got to know each other last year...and that your classroom has not moved since you changed grade levels. I'd be missing all of your "I'm a terrible Mom" stories. And you're not a terrible mom, you're awesome...you just have to cook more. JUST KIDDING!!!

For putting up with my crazy late nights at school! (I thought those were just for first year teachers!) For listening to me complain about EVERYTHING. For waking up early to make me breakfast, Romanian style. For making time for me, even though you are just as busy as I am.
