My Staples

I just had a delectable PB&J (actually it was allnaturalcrunchypeanutbutterwithorganicwildberrypreserves) sandwich. yum. I may or may not have devoured it in 20 seconds...or less. I was starving for a good dinner and when I opened my fridge, the peanut butter was calling me name. Here's why. I haven't had PB for 3 weeks! I know. It's crazy. But I had AHHHhhhmaaaahhhzing peanut butter from the market, ate it too quickly, and it was gone. What's really terrible is that I never went back to the market to get that particular all-natural maple and brown sugar PB. It's just too out of my way. So, while at the regular grocery store this weekend, I decided to satiate my craving, give in, and buy some PB.

This leads me to the meat of this post. I have some staple pieces in my fridge/pantry. Things that I always have. Things, without which, make my life difficult, disappointing and depressing. Here they are. In no particular order of love, deliciousness or importance.

1. Nutella.
On bananas. On crepes. On toast. On a spoon. In my smoothies. With peanut butter.
2.Peanut Butter.
On bananas. On crepes. On toast. On a spoon. In my smoothies. With nutella.
3.Brown Cage Free Eggs.
On bananas. JUST KIDDING. Just trying to see if you're still with me. But still, eggs. And brown because it makes me think that they're more healthy-even if it's not true.
4. Yogurt.
Specifically, Liberte coconut yogurt. yum.
5.Bananas.
lovem. they cure my hiccups.
6.Berries.
strawberries. blueberries. whatev. I lovem.
7.Avacados.
Great with and on anything. Except peanut butter. And nutella.
8. Feta Cheese.
The kind you get in a big canister for $11.
9. Bread.
Good mulitgrain, but not mushy, bread. aka: no wonder bread. it's just not my style.
10. Tea.
Especially green tea. Because I like me some hot green tea.
11.Black Beans.
For salads and such.
12. Pasta.
of all kinds. for any occasion, espesh dinner.

And so there you have it. The things that make my life easier, better, and more full. Get it? Full?? Hehehe.

Anywhoo...what are your yummy staple foods???

well miss julia, you pretty much named all my food staples minus the tea. i've tried and tried to like it but i can't!

ditto^ everything on your list is my staple sans the green tea. For some reason green tea makes me totally nauseous.
