My trip to NC

was not the nightmare that I had originally envisioned.

Thank goodness.

The LG and I left on Thursday evening for North Carolina to visit my mom and sister. Since I do not own an electric scooter, we drove down in my car (which is almost like a scooter in that I can drive with the top down, hair blowing in my face, sticking ever so gracefully to the lip gloss smeared on my lips.) The LG and I had so much fun on our 8 hour road trip, stopping only for gas and some crunchy trail mix to stay awake.

In NC, fun times were had by all.
