Bloomingdale's Rocked My Weekend...and other important events

Hello August, my favorite month..because it's my birthday month!! Whoot whoot! Even though I am inching my way towards 30 each year, I still feel as young as a fetus.

This year, I'm turning 27. God help me, because it's an odd number. And odd numbers are just weird.

So, two weeks ago I purchased two pairs of cute shoes. I wore them all week.

This past weekend, I went shopping again but only because I needed a pair of shoes for a wedding.

The right thing to do would have been to buy those wedding shoes. HOWEVER, I am never practical and hardly ever do the right thing. Therefore, I left with more pairs of shoes than I have feet. But I can rationalize...they were all on sale!

Also this weekend, my my friend Michelle had her bachelorrette party at SpaCastle in NY. The experience was different, eye opening, and fun. We spent the day hopping from sauna to sauna, sweating off calories in order to eventually consume a heavy Mexican meal. When we got to the spa we were instructed to wear hideously embarrassing uniforms and walk around barefoot. Some ladies pranced around buck naked. Not us, we looked better...

or so we thought.

Bwwwahahahah!

Having worked up a serious appetite, we went to Mama Mexico to satiate our cravings for some fresh food. Nothing says Mexican like fresh guac, sangria, and a live Mariachi band!

This collage will be cut off no matter what. I can't get it to fit no matter how many times I resize it. arrgghh.

We had a fabulous time!
