I need a shoe organizer in my closet. I cannot find anything that I love and have been contemplating building a custom one courtesy of the Guru.
I drove an hour to IKEA in search of one and thought I could use a bookshelf with extra shelves to make my own shoe display (I'd like to be able to look at my shoes and let out sighs of love.)
I'm just not satisfied with what's out there. I am, however, inspired by these ideas:

and those ikea organizers, while helpful...are super confusing to put together.
Those organizers are the BEST. do you have that much room to put something in like that??? I wish i still had tons of shoes :( i've gotta rid of so many amazing ones in the past year because of moving so much. it's sad. IKEA def. has some good organizers though.. you didn't end up finding anything??
