It's Wednesday. Word.

So, I’ve decided to devote my Wednesday blog entry to new and exciting vocabulary words. One of my favorite classes in high school was my SAT Verbal prep class. We would study and memorize vocabulary words for the dreaded SAT’s. And I LOVED it. That’s right, give me a pair of glasses and call me a nerd. (Wait! I already wear them. Nevermind.)

As I have been around the little cherubs for four years now, I feel my vocabulary is not as solid as it once had been. For this reason, my Wednesday blog entries will be titled “It's Wednesday. Word.” (It was going to be Wednesday's Word of the Week, but that's just too expected.) I’m hoping to increase my vocabulary with some unordinary words. And, hey! Maybe you’ll get something out of it, too.

I'm also trying to make the word out of letters from flicker...but I'm no html guru and I'm having trouble changing the size of the letters, so some of my words will not fit on one line, which is too bad. If any of you know how to change this, please help! I actually ended up contacting the creator of "Spell with Flicker" and he told me what to add to the html, but I can't seem to get it to work!

Anyway, presenting...

D as in Moda I6 letter A B Letter O L19 Capital Letter I (Washington, DC) letter C letter A L5

I just love the sound of the word. Diabolical.

The meaning: fiendish; devilsh; nastily scheming
Used in a super sentence: The police discovered a diabolical plan to poison the city's drinking water.

Word up.
