This is why I love my job...
So this week, I felt like I had lost all patience with the little ones. The talking out of turn, the tapping and tugging on my shirt to get my attention, the sneakiness in the boys bathroom...I could not wait for Friday. But on Friday, during writing, a little girl informed me of a secret "thing" that she was working on...for me. I smiled and told her, "Okay, but don't forget to work on your assignment." Later, she raised her hand and called me over to her seat.
