What I ATE over winter break- Day 3

This post was going to be about my insane shopping obsession, which is borderline out of control, and the snazzy boots that I snatched up while trying to satiate my desire for a new pair of OTK boots. That post, dear friends, will have to wait. Sit tight and don't fret. That's for tomorrow.

Sometimes things get crrrrazzzzyy around this joint and I get into a "I'm going to cook everything that I don't know how to cook, yet, but I'm going to learn it right now" type of mood.
Many times, this results in wonderful homemade goodness. But failure is inevitable. Things cannot always be peachy all the freaking time.

Last week, I made polish paczki. I decided to make them again, as they were such a success and inhaled in 3 minutes flat. With paczki-making exprience now under her belt, Smarty Pants over here decided to use her master baking skills to change up the recipe. Ha! What an utter failure.

What even are those lumps of lardy dough??

So what does a girl do after a Kitchen catastrophe?

Cry.

Go out to eat, of course!

I'll have me some of this...

(half eaten Chicken Curry Cashew)

A little of that...

(coconut ice cream)

And then some of this...

(creme brulee)

All the while surrounded by great company...

Sile and Becky

Becky's dinner: a success. Sile's dinner: to be polite, it was an utter disgrace. ::sigh:: It's impossible to satisfy an epicurean.

And us? We smile because we're only happy when we're full.

Enjoy your day, lovies!
xoxo

thanks for the comment julia! i am usually a size 2/4, but i always buy a size medium in forever 21 skirts. they tend to run small and i like them to be comfortable around my waist since i usually tuck tops into them!
