It's all happening so fast!

So, we are still awaiting to get the letter from our buyer's lawyer regarding his inheritance money.  However, since he signed the paperwork, we have received a fax from him indicating his interest in the property and that he most definitely wants it.  We have also received an email letting us know that he has contacted his lawyer and is waiting for a response.  Today, I signed the necessary paperwork..now we're just playing the waiting game!

Also today, I went to look for houses for myself (to live in, not to flip) and found a small townhouse that I really really like!  It's small, which after looking at big older homes, I realized that small is what I want! It has been updated, so no stripping wallpaper-even no new paint required! I love sunlight very much, and this house has great light and I could totally see myself living in it!  It has two good sized bedrooms.  The master bedroom is huge, compared to my current little room, and it's my favorite room in the house.  It has a ::gasp:: walk-in closet and a door to the hallway bathroom.  The galley kitchen has been updated and is connected to a small breakfast nook.  The home also has a little patio and small fenced in back yard.  The home is only about 1,100 sq ft, but it's just the right size for a little girl like me! I love it!

Here's the revelation I had today after seeing this home:

All of the major financial decisions I have made in my life have been quick ones.  It's not that I don't put thought into them, but quite the contrary...I think about my decision constantly for about a day and then make a decision.  I don't waste my time.  My car was a quick decision.  My month long trip to Europe was a decision I made in a day.  I never had the urge to backpack, until I spoke with a friend who had backpacked and that day, I vowed to do it the following year. My decision to buy the house in the city: (which is the best financial decision I have made in my life yet...thanks LG!)when LG asked me how I felt about going in on an investment like that, my reply was quick, "Okay. Let's do it." And that's how it happened. And this house that I saw today, I know I like it. It fits me.  Whether or not my offer will be accepted, or whether it becomes mine, we'll have to see, but I'm already ready to make a decision. I'm that quick. :)
